Steel Hunters was a AAA mech shooter made in Unreal Engine 5 that shipped in Early Access in Spring 2025. The game was set in a dystopian sci-fi universe, where the goal was to blend tactical gameplay with engaging storytelling. Players and Community lauded the lore, narrative and voice-direction.
I worked between Wargaming Prague/Guildford, on all narrative design elements, and some game and technical narrative design features in-engine.
I worked for Spil Games on a story-rich, heavily branching, visual novel mobile game from concept to being successfully published on the App Store.
I have completed certificates in Unreal Engine 5, and use Sequencer to tell stories and create cinematics and trailers.
I recently created an interactive opening section and level, complete with action and dialogue triggers for a concept survival adventure game based on the novel Gorillas in the Mist.
My first game/prototype made as a solo-dev & game designer. I learned and used Unity plus a bespoke branching narrative tool, to create a retro sci-fi visual novel where choices come thick and fast--some with story-altering power.
